First time cheer, dance and twirling applicants are required to submit a video showing a sample routine. All float applicants are required to submit a drawing of their proposed float with this application. Failure to submit these requirements will result in your application being denied.

Applications are approved on a rolling basis starting in mid-September. Previous participation does not guarantee acceptance.

A certificate of insurance must be provided to parade officials upon application approval for all units.

After unit approval, the parade fee must be received by check or Venmo by Wednesday, November 5 or your unit will not be included in the lineup.

This organization knowingly and at our own risk, in consideration of our acceptance as a participant, hereby forever waive and release any and all claims for injuries or illness that anyone included in and participating from our organization may incur as a direct or indirect result of our participation in the "Dominion Energy Christmas Parade," against Richmond Parade Inc., and its committee, the City of Richmond, any sponsor, or any other group or individual sustaining or associated with this Parade.

By virtually signing this application, I acknowledge that I have read, understood and accepted our organization's responsibility and liability for our safety and that of our participants' safety and health during the Parade. I agree that if our unit is accepted, all involved will abide by the rules and regulations enclosed as established by Richmond Parade Inc. and its committee.
